Jemima Yakubu is a third-year university student from Nigeria, pursuing a degree in International Law and Diplomacy. Growing up in the Northern region of Nigeria, an area afflicted by insurgency, Jemima is deeply committed to ensuring that young children have access to education even in conflict zones. Her passion for education is evident through her active involvement in her local community, where she engages with children and helps them with their studies. Jemima is also an avid reader, particularly drawn to African literature, which has shaped her understanding of her culture, struggles, and political dynamics.
