Sanah Malik

Sanah Malik, originally from India, drew inspiration from her family and the employment challenges faced by immigrants and forced migrants in Canada. In 2022, Sanah attended Camp 2030, where her team developed a business concept called “Corporate Mentors.” Corporate Mentors was designed as a mentorship program that pairs members of the BIPOC community with C-Suite mentors in pursuit of career advancement.

After leading her team to victory and winning 1st place in Camp 2030’s pitch competition, Sanah fully launched her initiative, transforming it into a non-profit now called The Refugee and Immigrants Organization (TRIO).

TRIO is dedicated to addressing the systemic and institutional issues that refugees and immigrants encounter. The purpose TRIO is to create a mentorship and networking platform that connects incoming refugees and immigrants trying to gain access to better job opportunities, in order to unlock and harness their immense potential.
