Reeana Tazreean
Reeana Tazreean (BHSc) is a passionate Human Rights Advocate and Design Innovator. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Health & Society from the University of Calgary in Canada and is set to pursue a Master of Science in Bioethics at Harvard University in the Fall. During her time at the University of Calgary, Reeana served as a Senator and Medicine Faculty Representative, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to student representation.
Her professional experience includes working at UNICEF Canada on the Domestic Policy and Public Relations/Communications teams and contributing as a Health Innovation Architect in consulting. Reeana’s research is centered on advancing postoperative mobilization within the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery framework and addressing health disparities. Her bioethical interests lie in exploring the ethical implications of global healthcare innovation co-created with youth.
