Maryam Akhtar is a multifaceted professional who seamlessly blends her passion for peace, climate change, and wellness with her expertise in innovation, management, and research. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at NUST, she has a diverse background in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals and addressing critical issues related to climate change, peace education, and wellness.
Maryam is a proud alumna of the ChangemakerXchange program, a Mover Envoy, and an FXB Climate Advocate. She is currently leading the Research and Development Working Group of FridaysForFuture Pakistan. Her work is driven by a profound commitment to creating positive change, guided by the belief that through collaboration and small, meaningful actions, we can build a better future for ourselves and generations to come.”
