"Artur Goncalves is a passionate young Australian currently pursuing a degree in Business Information Technology, with a strong desire to leverage his skills for the betterment of both local and global communities. His dedication to social impact was exemplified by his participation in the ICT for Social Impact India study tour, where he taught IT skills in a rural village and immersed himself in the diverse cultures of India. This experience deepened his understanding of global inequalities and sparked a passion for bridging the gap in wealth and living standards. Artur is eager to bring this experience to the Youth Delegate Program (YDP), where he hopes to collaborate with like-minded individuals from around the world to become better future leaders committed to creating a more sustainable and equitable planet.

Growing up in a less privileged area of Melbourne, Artur faced adversity due to class differences, which only strengthened his resolve to contribute positively to society. His natural leadership abilities and innovative mindset have driven him to continually seek out new ways to make a difference, whether through education, technology, or community engagement. Artur believes strongly in the mission to end poverty, inequality, injustice, and climate change, and is committed to doing his part to help achieve these goals.
